What Santa brought....

We had such a wonderful Christmas. Our Mommy and Daddy were both home:) It's not too often we get them both to ourselves for a whole day. Our Grandma DeAnn came over to spend the day with us too. Of all days we actually slept in... Our Mommy had to come wake us at 8am. We took one look at our new Big Red Wagon that Santa left us and were head over heels.
We love going for rides and pushing it around the house.

We also got lots of new toys and books. Our Mommy is happy that we got a lot of new Jammi's and clothes too.

Thank You all so very much for our gifts and for making our Christmas even more memorable.

We love you!

15 months...

Hi friends...are you ready for Santa to come? Our parents haven't even put our Christmas tree up yet because they know just what we will do to it:)
We have been doing lots of shopping with our Mommy this past week. We really love to go for car rides and go in our stroller. Our Mommy bought us new shoes yesterday so we can get down and run around a little more. She says she is starting a bad habit, letting us out of our stroller in the stores.
Today I (Tristan) signed to Mommy for the very first time. She was feeding us yogurt and I signed "More", we love yogurt:) We are saying all kinds of words these days. We say "sit, up(bup), car, bye bye, ut oh, and make all kind of animal noises. We are wearing 2-3T clothes and size 6 shoes...our Mommy says we have big feet like our Grandma. We love to play outside every chance we get. Our Daddy sold our Jogger and we have grown out of our new bike trailer so we hope Santa brings us a bigger one this year. Our Mommy loves to take us for bike rides and stroller rides.
We sure love all of you and hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
Love Tristan and Titan Dellos

14 months and growing...

Well you probably can figure out why it has been so long since we posted... Mommy is working full time now:(
We have grown in leaps and bounds since our last post. We turned one on September 3rd and for our first birthday our parents took us to Sea World and San Diego Zoo. We had a great time but were sick most of it. I think the only time our parent were able to enjoy themselves was when we were sleeping.

Due to our miserable head cold we ended our trip a little early, we really like to be home.
Since the weather has cooled down we are able to go outside more. Our mom takes us to the park just about everyday. She likes to take us in the bike trailer, which we have almost out grown.

We look forward to sharing our Holiday Season with you all... we finally have our camera fixed (Daddy dropped it while we were in San Diego)

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Eat lots of Turkey and Pumpkin pie:)

11 Months and Walking....

We know it's been a long time since we last posted an up date so we will try to catch you up on what we have been doing...

We are both walking now on our own. My brother Titan started walking first, then a few days later I started walking; I still prefer my parents to walk with me.

We both have our top teeth coming in. Titan has all four coming in at the same time. I have one tooth leading the other three, my mommy says I look like a real "red neck".
We had our first haircut... which really makes us look like big boys!

I have started to say "Momma" and Titan is still saying "Momma" and "Dada" but that is about the extent of our vocabulary.
We have learned how to open our dresser drawers and pull our clothes out one by one

and do the same in the dishwasher...unload the dirty dishes onto the floor.

Our favorite thing is to throw the silverware or bang them together to hear the noise it makes.
We love to throw balls! We get all our balls and go out into the entry way and bounce them on the tile floor.

Of course we are doing lots of other things too, like shutting each other's fingers in the doors and drawers, pulling off our diapers, pulling daddy's books off the shelf, playing in the garbage, eating rocks and bugs ( I have eaten 3 rollie pollies) and lots of other naughty things you can think of :)
Our parents have been real busy lately...
Packing for our family reunion to Lake Powell, starting a new job (our Mommy got a full time job in the Emergency Department), to applying to Graduate school... she hopes to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Next month we are off to San Diego to see Shamu and the other zoo animals for our first birthday!

We're into EVERYTHING:)

Our Mommy and Daddy are busy, busy, busy. They say we are into everything.

This is us getting caught pulling diapers and clothes off our changing table.

playing in the pantry....

I like watching our Mommy search the house for Titan...

We only like the vaccum when we can play on it, otherwise it is loud and scary.

Here is Titan catching a free ride...

We love to wrestle...

Our Cabin Adventure...

This past weekend we went to our friend's cabin. We had so much fun but we think our Daddy had the most fun. Our Daddy went on the fishing boat with the guys all day Saturday and returned with lots of fish. We aren't quite big enough to go on the fishing boat just yet but maybe next year. My brother and I stayed back at the cabin with our Mommy and her friends. We had fun playing with our friend Bryson and scouting out the cabin. One of our favorite things to do was to sit up at the kitchen bar in the Monkey chair.

We ate lots of new things and even brought some of our Daddy's fish home to try. The cabin is so beautiful and it over looks Fish Lake. We had our family picture taken on the back deck of the cabin...

Thanks Heppler's for such a wonderful weekend, we love you!

9 month check up...

Today we went in for our 9 month check up and luckily left without getting any shots:) Of course we have grown leaps and bounds since our last check up. Today Titan weighed in at 22.5 lbs, 29 inches long, and in the 85th percentile. I weighed in at 21.6 lbs, 28.5 inches, and in the 80th percentile. Yes, my younger brother still has me beat! The doctor said we can start eating more of what our parents eat, but we don't like chunky food or textures, we still like to eat our pured baby food. Our doctor also told our parents that we need to cry ourselves to sleep and that we shouldn't be eating in the middle of the night...that part we didn't like to hear.
We have been enjoying our summer so far. It has really started to heat up around here, which only means we can't go outside as much as we would like. We now have to get our walk in by 8:30am. Our parents have started taking us to the mall for our walk, it feels much better in the mall and there are lots of new things to see.
Today we went to the splash park in town with our Auntie and cousins. We had a blast! Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy:)

I am CRAWLING....

Oh it is so wonderful that I can get where I want to...yep, I am on the move! Titan isn't crawling yet, but will be real soon. Our Mommy is beginning to realize just how busy life can be with TWINS. I love to crawl over to the back door and pull on the blinds. I also like to pull myself up to the ottoman and walk with my parents to the front door and look out the side window.
Our parents celebrated their 5 year anniversary last Friday. Saturday they took us up to Zion to show us where they got married. We had so much fun! We had a picnic and played on the toys; we were in our stroller for hours.

First trip to Vegas

Our parents took us to Las Vegas for a sleep over at our friend Bryson's. We had so much fun playing with all his toys, we even got to swim in his pool. Daddy was able to get away with Rhett for a few hours; they went to a fishing store. Mommy and Steph enjoyed hanging out at the house with us boys. We all had such a great time that our Mommy has decided to take us down there once a month:) Here are some pictures of us playing.

Our Blessing...May 8th

We were blessed the day before Mother's day and many of our friends and family came to support us. Our old neighbors Rhett, Stephanie, and Bryson came up from Vegas, two of our Aunties came from up north with our cousins and many friends from both our ward and Mommy's work. Rhett blessed me and another neighbor friend of ours blessed Titan. Just before were were blessed the funniest thing happened...our Mommy got us mixed up! Yep, Brother Lawrence asked Mommy who was who and our Mommy couldn't tell us apart, everyone just laughed. Here are some pictures of us.

What's new with T & T

We have really been enjoying the wonderful weather here in St. George. We spend a lot of time outdoors, mostly in the jogger. We went to the splash pad this morning...yes, we have to get out early before Mr. Sun gets too high in the sky; he makes things HOT around here.
We both have two bottom teeth now and when we smile you can see them every now and again. (And with teeth comes biting and we sure do enough of that too). Our Mommy said our teeth are razor sharp like shark teeth; Tristan can testify to that cuz I bit both his toes and fingers yesterday, he only cried for a little while.
Now that we are almost 8 months old and can sit up on our own, our parents let us ride in the regular stroller without our car seats. It's so much fun unless Tristan is riding in the back, he likes to poke me in the head and kick the back of my seat. Our Daddy saw him do it and couldn't help but laugh. He was able to get a picture of him doing it.

We have also been playing with all the wonderful toys our cousin Marshall has passed down to us. Here is a picture of Tristan riding the fire truck all by himself.

It is so much fun!
our favorite toys these days are the stand up toys. Our parents seem to think we are going to pass up crawling all together and just start walking. We can get up on our knees for a second but we would rather stand. We mostly roll and pivot to get from toy to toy. Maybe next month we will be crawling or maybe not:)

What

Cystic Fibrosis Walk...

Saturday we joined several of our friends and walked for Simon at the Great Stride Cysitic Fibrosis walk. Simon is 7 years old and a real busy body; his Mommy and our Mommy are friends. Our Mommy raised $140 in two weeks to help find a cure for Simon and many others battleing C.F., We want to give a big Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Tafoya, The Heppler's, The Hanza's, and Geri(from Dads bank) for donating and making a difference. Here is a picture of us at the walk.

It was over a 2 mile walk, therefore we worked up an appetite:)
After the walk a few of our local retail stores were there donating their time, talents, and lunch, so we stayed and played for a little while before it got too hot out.

Tristan's First tooth...

It wasn't but three days after my brother got his first tooth that my first tooth finally came in. I hadn't been feeling all that good and now we know why, I was teething. My Mommy stuck her finger in my mouth yesterday and sure enough she felt my tooth. I can't wait for my tooth to come all the way through so I can show everyone just how cute it is.
Our Daddy bought our Mommy a new camera for Easter so you should be getting to see us more often once she figures out how to use it:)

Titan's first tooth!

Yep, I have my very first tooth coming in on the bottom right side. My mommy stuck her finger in my mouth yesterday to feel it and sure enough I have a tooth. Today you can actually see it coming in. I will have my Mommy take a picture of it when it comes all the way through so you can see it. My brother doesn't have one yet but I am sure it won't be long.

The weather has been really nice so our Mommy takes us in the jogger with her when she goes running with her friends. We usually run anywhere from 4-6 miles at a time which makes for a nice nap. We also like to look around and see new things.

We had a wonderful Easter. We went over to our parent's friends house for dinner. They have four girls who just love to play with us. It was really nice for our parents to be able to relax and enjoy their friends while we played with the girls.
Thanks Grammy for the our new jammies

Playing with Jetter....

Our cousin Chalese brought Jetter over to play with us in the back yard and boy did he like us...or maybe it was our drool he liked:)

Titan got Jetter by the nose!

Hey come back here Jetter!

Tristan didn't know what to think of Jetter.

6 Month check up...

As you can see in this picture Tristan isn't very happy with Mommy because she is playing with me and not him...
Our visit to the pediatricians office today went as planned, we each got three shots and boy did they hurt. Our Daddy was caught up in a meeting and wasn't able to make it so our Mommy had to go by herself, which is hard because she can't hold us both when we cry after our shots.
Today I (Titan) weighed in at 18lbs 9oz and am 27 inches tall. My head is 44 1/2 inches round and I am in the 70th percentile. I am sitting up on my own as you can see in my picture and am a pretty mellow baby from what my parents tell me.

Tristan on the other hand weighed in at 17lbs 8oz and is 26 3/4 inches tall. His head is 1/2 inch smaller than mine at 44 inches. He is in the 58th percentile for his size. But you have to remember these numbers are for babies who are truly 6 months old, we are really only 4 1/2 months old. We are BIG boys! Tristan can sit on his own but does better if he is supported by Mommy or a boppy. He loves to squawk, jump like a frog, and smile.
We both love to play peek-a-boo, read books(eat books) and watch baby Einstein. Our Daddy took us to Target last Saturday when Mommy was working and bought us 8 new Einstein DVDs. We have just started to experience separation and stranger anxiety, we now notice when our parents leave the room and today Tristan was afraid of our doctor.
At our visit today our Doctor said we have eczema and need steroid cream. Our Mommy has noticed me scratching at my tummy but wasn't sure if that was what I was really doing. Our Doctor told our Mommy that our skin itches and it burns when she puts lotion on it. He also said it is probably the reason why we are fussy and not sleeping through the night. He said we could have benadryl to help us sleep at night. Boy is our Mommy happy about that, she can't wait to try it out tonight!
He also said we get to start eating baby cereal again. Our Mommy stopped it because she thought Tristan might be allergic to it. We will try again and see what happens.
We are looking forward to seeing our Grandma and Grandpa Tafoya this weekend and our Grammy next week. We hope the weather is nice for them so they can take us outside to play and go on walks.
